FAQ`s – Frequently Asked Questions

1. Lottery terms:
On the Link „Lottery Conditions“ on top you’ll find all infomation. First of all, try to find an answer to your question below.

2. Is it possible to buy more than one ticket?
Yes, you can buy as many tickets as you want.

3. Is my friend allowed to buy a ticket?
Yes, please fill the name, address and date of birth of your friend in the payment form. Your friend must be at least 18 years old. Additionally you have to mention your friend as beneficiary on the payment form („reason for payment“).

4. Where do I get the payment form for the lots?
In each bank in Austria (Europe – Money transfer with BIC). Just write in „reason for payment“ „HAUSVERLOSUNG WEGHOFER“.

5. When is my ticket valid?
After receiving the payment at the notary trust account.

6. Do I have additional costs, if I win the house?
NONE!!! The following costs pays the owner: real estate transfer tax, charge for entry in the land register. And all full costs in connection with the house-lottery!

7. Do I have to occupy the house?
No, you can rent it to someone too.

8. Am I allowed to give the house away to someone?
The winner has only to assume the house and has the possibility to occupy, rent, sell or give it away.

9. Do I have to attend the lottery?
No, the notary officiate as exponent. If you do not attend to the lottery and you are the winner, you’ll get informed in written form.

10. Can anyone win?
Yes, if you are 18 years old and up.

11. What happens if there are more than 1899 payers?
The account will be closed if all 1899 tickets are sold. If someone paid to late (depends on the closing of the account) we’ll retransfer the money.

12. Who guarantees the processing?
The whole processing and the retransfer are controlled and guaranteed by the notary.

13. When and where does the lottery take place?
The lottery is taking place 4 weeks after selling the last ticket.

14. How will I get the information about the lottery date?
You’ll find all dates two weeks before at our website.

15. Do I have waranty?
Warranty is excluded, you have to take the house the way it is.

16. What happens with the money if there are few participants?
We’ll retransfer the money without deduction.
